Welcome to TIO CrossFit

About Us

TIO CrossFit is London's first outdoor CrossFit gym, based at Rosslyn Park rugby club in Barnes, SW London. We are committed to actively enriching the lives of our members and creating a community of likeminded people who love being healthy and strong. Our goal is to get you in shape while having a great time with nice people.

TIO stands for Train Inside Out - we love being outside and get out in the elements all year round (but have cover and heating for those times that the weather doesn't oblige!).

What do we offer at TIO?

We have a class for everyone at TIO

 

1. CrossFit - Constantly varied, functional movements performed at relative intensity. Meaning you get to keep your training varied and fun while doing movements that help you outside of the gym.

 

2. TIOROX - with the rise in hybrid racing we offer an effective way to train for races you may have coming up or if you like the simpler conditioning style workouts then this is for you.

​

3. Base - Looking to get stronger in the simpler movements which can then allow you to get that first pull up or push up. Structured in a way that helps you to progress weekly with similar movements. 

​

4. Barbell - Like throwing the barbell around? This is the class for you. Each week we focus on the snatch and clean & jerk to allow you to improve your barbell game. This can compliment your CrossFit game nicely.

​

All done in a community based environment where we work together to push each other to be the best version of ourselves. Harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition and fun of sport or game yields an intensity that cannot be matched by other means.

Fitness for Life

TIO can be used to accomplish any goal; from improved health to weight loss to better performance. It works for everyone - people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.

Daily WODs

The magic is in the movements. Workouts are different every day and modified to help each individual achieve his/her goals. We will help you get fitter, whatever your age, experience or current fitness level.

Learn the Basics

Our training is built on performing functional movements safely and effectively. Learn the basics & continue to be coached in every class as you progress.

The first step is joining a class. You can do this by choosing the membership of your choice or purchasing a single class session.

All our classes are suitable for beginners so decide what time works for you and then book through our online platform team up.​

Meet our coaches

Holly is a level 3 CrossFit coach and certified nutrition coach. She founded TIO CrossFit in 2018 after experiencing first hand the positive impact CrossFit and its community can have on life.

Head Coach Jamie is a level 3 CrossFit coach, programming maestro and coffee snob. He has coached all levels from complete beginners to CrossFit Games athletes and is one of the best CrossFit coaches in the world.

Anna is a level 3 CrossFit Coach. As a former endurance athlete she brings a wealth of knowledge and also knows a thing or two about how to work hard! Hyrox world champs qualifer

Hannah is a Level 2 CrossFit coach who has competed for Great Britain in gymnastics and cheerleading. A foodie at heart Hannah’s motto is delicious and nutritious.

Parkes is a Level 2 CrossFit coach with a huge amount of experience in the fitness sector. Competition banter is his strong point. Outside of CrossFit Nick is a keen golfer.

Plato is our resident gym dog. He loves any water bottle or pair of gym grips left on the floor. If he shows you his teeth - it's because he's smiling at you!
